About

An engineer who builds intelligent systems and practical software, with a strong focus on AI/ML and software engineering.

I like understanding systems from first principles and then building the practical implementation. Most of what I work on starts as a question about how something actually works — how retrieval grounds a language model, how a separation network pulls one voice out of a mixture, how a real-time backend keeps thousands of messages consistent — and ends as working code.

My focus is split across two tracks that keep reinforcing each other: applied AI/ML, where I work with deep learning, retrieval and LLM applications; and software engineering, where I build backends, APIs and data layers that hold up under real use.
